CEO’s Message

NICO PAARDENKOOPER

Hydrocarbon products are an essential part of everyone’s lives, from the plastic bottle that carries mineral water quenching the thirst of a marathon runner to the jet oil that allows people to travel across the world to reunite with family – and we help make sure those products are transferred, stored, and converted in the best and most efficient way. Although we boast the best in class fully automated terminals, our people are our pride. We have less than 100 people operating our current operational facilities, who have been handpicked to deliver the best service to our customers. Our flagship facility is our hub terminal in Fujairah, a fast-growing oil storage hub at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz – one of the busiest shipping routes in the world. Since we began commercial operation at the start of 2018, we quickly became the seventh largest independent oil storage company in Fujairah and are set to grow to be the second largest by mid 2021, the largest by end of 2023. Safety, security and careful handling of products is our core ethos. We want to ensure that while we continue to facilitate the flow of energy, we do so without putting our people in harm’s way or endangering our ecosystem. I am looking forward to growing Brooge Energy Limited to become a household name in the energy industry.
