The Company’s Board of Directors appoints the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer.

On 11 August 2023, Brooge Energy Ltd announced, that the Board of Directors had commenced a search for a permanent CEO after Ms. Lina Saheb resigned from her positions as interim CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Brooge Energy Limited and all its subsidiary companies, effective 8 August 2023.

While the Company searches for a new Chief Executive Officer, the Board has established an Office of the Chief Executive Office to temporarily assume the role of the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. The Office of the Chief Executive Officer consists of Paul Ditchburn, the current Chief Financial Officer of the Company, Saleh Yammout, a current member of the Board and a former Chief Financial Officer of the Company, and Saif Alhazaimeh, the current Research and Acquisition Manager of BPGIC FZE. Paul Ditchburn in his capacity as the CFO of the Company will serve as the Chair to the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.

The Office of the Chief Executive Officer meets regularly to address matters concerning the entire Group and is focused on the implementation of the Company’s corporate strategy and managing the Company’s core business operations, which requires planning of various safety and development processes, policies, and procedures, as well as monitoring the financial matters and business plans.

Paul Ditchburn

Chief Financial Officer

Paul Ditchburn is the Chief Financial Officer for Brooge Energy Limited and joined BPGIC and the Company in December 2022. Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Ditchburn has worked in the oil and gas industry for 30 years holding senior positions in RAK Gas LLC, Kuwait Energy plc and Santos Ltd. The positions included Finance Director, Chief Advisor Officer, SVP Corporate Services, SVP Strategy & Portfolio and Financial Controller. Mr. Ditchburn holds a Master of Business Administration majoring in Leadership, Bachelor of Economics and an Advanced Diploma of Accounting and is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants.

Saleh Mohamed Yammout

Non-Executive Director

Saleh Yammout is a Non-Executive Director of Brooge Energy Limited. Mr. Yammout joined in October 2018. Mr. Yammout served as the Vice President (Finance & Administration) at the Rochester Institute of Technology (Dubai), having joined in 2014. Prior to this, he was a Senior Consultant at PwC from 2012 to 2014, and an Analyst at Al Hilal Bank from 2011 to 2012. Mr. Yammout holds a BSc in Economics with a concentration on International Relations from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.

Saif Alhazaimeh

Research and Acquisition Manager

Saif Alhazaimeh is the Research and Acquisition Manager and joined BPGIC and the Company in July 2021. Mr. Alhazaimeh holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Khalifa University and has passed CFA L1 exam. Having worked in leading energy companies such as ADNOC and Worley Parsons with a remarkable journey spanning over 10 years within the industry. Mr. Alhazaimeh has also been proactively involved in BPGIC Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) reporting and roadmap.
